Lake Como in November
Crime/Travelinformation by Marion Mollenhauer
Romance, suspense, adventure, regeneration, lovely views, breathtaking panorama – all that and even more offers the Lake of Como, also in November.
While in our latitudes everything is drowning in grey autumn mist, temperatures at Lake Como are definitely acceptable. Walking tours and excursions are less strenuous than in the summer heat and around the Como Lake it is much calmer as in the peak season.
Also in this time of the year performances and events take place and can be visited. For example: The Big Farmer’s Market in Sorico, Operas at the Teatro Sociale in Como or the famous, near by Milano Scala. Concerto fanciers get their money’s worth at Villa Olmo in Como or Palazzo Gallio in Gravedona.
To those who want to stay at the snugly fireplace in the cosy holiday home we recommend an E-Book, corresponding to the season and the location: The thrilling crime short-story “Tödliches Saisonende”. The exciting criminal case “3x4Pfötchen und das Netz der weißen Spinne” offers reading material for the youngsters and plays also at the Lake of Como.
