Music as Medicine for the Soul in Gravedona ed Uniti on Lake Como

Cari amici, dear friends of Lake Como! Gravedona ed Uniti is hosting the Gravedona Chamber Music Festival (GCMF) for the 4th time. Also this year the Palazzo Gallio with its beautiful terrace was chosen as the ideal place for the concerts. This ensures maximum security for the audience, in accordance with the currently valid corona rules.

Chamber Music as Medicine for the Soul

The Gravedona Chamber Music Festival was organized by the ClassicAreale association. The event arose from the wish and conviction of the organizers that the beauty and magic of chamber music is medicine for the soul.

I am sure classical music lovers share this attitude.

An Important Event in the Classical Music Festival Scene

The GCMF is an important event on the European classical music estival scene, in which many internationally known artists take part. This year the audience can enjoy interpretations of the compositions by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Mahler and Brahms.

There’s Something New at the Gravecona Chamber Music Festival 

New to this 4th edition of the GCMF is the official joint artistic direction of Jacopo Di Tonno and Francesca Dego, a supporter of the project and honorary member of the Classic Areale association.

Francesca has been enthusiastically involved in the festival since its first edition. Originally from Colico, it is her wish to contribute to the musical life of Lake Como.

As in previous years, the festival’s honorary president is the cellist Enrico Dindo.
