Deep Water, a Lot of Fish

In the clear, in places 425 meters deep waters of the Lake live approx. 30 different species of fish.

On the menus of almost all Ristorante you find allis shad (Finten), Alborellen, burbots, whitefish, missoltini, pesce persico and more.

Delicious Fish Dishes from Lake Como

The freshly caught fish will be offered marinated, grilled, baked, fried or pickled. A very popular fish dish is the risotto al persico. The persico is a kind of perch.
